Volkswagen opens new training center in Mexico
German carmaker Volkswagen has opened a new training center in Mexico called Volkswagen Group Sales & Service Academy.
The automaker has invested $6.7m in the new center which will be used to train the staff of the dealership network of brands within the group in order to improve service and the attention of customers visiting their dealerships nationwide.
The new center is located next to the commercial area of the car plant in Puebla, Mexico in an area of 10,500 sq m with 6,500 sq m of construction.
Volkswagen de Mexico EVP for marketing, sales and rental services Hans-Heiner Tüting said customer satisfaction is one of the main objectives of all we integrated the Volkswagen family, with the opening of this academy, the company has the opportunity to standardize the training process for its entire sales force and technicians, service advisors and managers, who are fundamental to achieving the goals it has raised by 2018.
The company said that the new center will help meet the standards defined by the parent, also ensures the quality and quantity of training that the Mexican market demands in the interest of customer satisfaction.
